Terms & Conditions

1. Registrations are open to residents of the Townsville Local Government Area (LGA) aged 18 years and older who have registered their household (“organiser”) for Cyclone Ready Streets Campaign running until 18th November 2017.

2. Only registered households are eligible to receive the offers outlined below.

3. Registrations open 12:01 ET on 23/10/2017 and will close 17.00 ET on 17/11/2017 (“competition period”). Noting – there has been an extension applied to the campaign as follows; Registrations remain open until 17.00 ET on 24/11/2017 (“competition period – extension”).

4. The offers include one meat tray per household registered.

5. The organiser may only register their own household over the campaign period.

6. A household cannot be registered twice. This will result in the termination of the household’s duplicate registration.

7. Meat trays vouchers will be issued to registered organisers post the submission of three photos (images) to the supplied email address showing the registered organiser has cleaned up. Possible photo depictions include; piles of hard rubbish / tree and gardening trimmings, cleaning gutters, repairing fences, tying down flyaway objects or showing a completed / restocked cyclone kit. Only once three (3) photos have been submitted, review and approved by the promoters will a meat tray voucher be issued. These images must be submitted before 5pm on 17 November 2017, otherwise the registration will be terminated. For the campaign extension, these images must be submitted before 5pm on 24 November 2017, otherwise the registration will be terminated.

8. Meat trays will be redeemable at the allocated collection point on the 18th and 25th November 2017 using the identification of the registered organiser. The location of the collection point and voucher to obtain the meat tray will be sent to the organiser via email and or SMS before 7pm on 17 November 2017 for the first round of submissions received between 12:01 ET 23/10/17 – 17:00ET 17/11/2017, and on 7pm on 24 November 2017 for the second of submissions received between 17:01ET 17/11/2017 – 17:00ET 24/11/2017. A total of 200 submissions will be accepted.

9. Meat trays are capped at 200 quantities. Hence, this campaign operates on a ‘first in best dressed model’. Meat trays are for a four person capacity to the value of $18AUD and include a combination of sausages and steaks.

10. Meat trays are not redeemable for cash.

11. Employees of the promoters are unable to register and participate in this campaign.

12. The promoter collects personal information (“PI”) in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at townsville.qld.gov.au. The promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how the entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI. All entries become the property of the promoter. Unless otherwise indicated by the promoter, the promoter may disclose entrants personal information collected in Australia to entities outside of Australia.

13. The promoters are Townsville City Council, Suncorp and Ergon Energy.

14. Registrations between 12:01 ET on 23/10/2017 – 17.00 ET on 17/11/2017, will also go into a draw to win a ‘3 Burner BBQ with side burner’ (RRP $249) – there are four up for grabs. Winners will be notified on 19.00 ET on 17/11/2017, by email/text and must pick up the BBQ by the 1st of December 17.00 ET.
